A bit more about us
Blinkies Early Education Centre started out as family day care over 40 years ago in the family home of Susan Huff. As demand grew the need for a larger centre was realised and the New Lambton house evolved into a long day care centre, whilst further demand called for a second centre. Blinkies Early Education Centre, New Lambton and Bright Buttons Early Learning Centre, Waratah quickly grew into very busy and much needed centres.
With Susan’s knowledge and experience, and her highly qualified staff, Blinkies and Bright Buttons became well known for their educational program in preparing our young members of society for their first year of school. Our educational program is engaging and stimulating, aiming to enhance children’s learning and development and to create successful, capable and competent learners. Children leave Blinkies with a strong sense of identity and wellbeing, are confident learners, effective communicators and are able to contribute to their world.
Blinkies and Bright Buttons remain owned and operated by Susan as a family business to this day.

We are committed to the development of staff skills and knowledge to support the learning and development of all children which is why we employ additional early childhood teachers above the required ratio, enriching the learning opportunities offered in our program.
